SHAYKH ABU SAFIYYAH MOHAMMED KHALID
(new instructor)

Shaykh Abu Safiyyah graduated from Madinah Islamic University (KSA) with a BA Hons in Hadith & Islamic Sciences. The Shaykh has numerous Ijazat in various disciplines. His prominent list of teachers includes Shaykh A. Ghunayman, Shaykh K. Al Mushayqih, Shaykh A. Al Fawzan, Shaykh M. Suhaybani and Shaykh A. Ansari.

USTADH ABU HUDHAYFAH

Ustadh Abu Hudhayfah holds a diploma in Arabic Language from Madinah Islamic University (KSA). As one of our longest serving teachers, known for his linguistic eloquence and structured teaching methods, he takes a no nonsense approach to get the best out of students.

SHAYKH ABU ABDILLAH

Shaykh Abu Abdillah is a graduate of Madinah Islamic University (KSA) from the faculty of Shari’ah. He holds a diploma in Arabic Language in addition to being Hafidh Ul Qur’an. Whilst at Madinah the Shaykh was able to benefit from some of the most prominent scholars in Saudi Arabia.

USTADH THOMAS (TARIQ) HAYES

Ustadh Thomas holds a diploma in Arabic Language from Madinah Islamic University (KSA) and is currently pursuing a degree in Arabic Language. His acquaintance with the Madinah series and his love for the language will greatly benefit the students at our Institute.

SHAYKH MAHMUD JALLOH

Shaykh Mahmud Jalloh is a graduate of Madinah Islamic University (KSA) from the faculty of Arabic Language specialising in Arabic Linguistics. He is also a senior examiner for an Arabic GCSE/A-Level examination board.

SHAYKH MD SHAKIR AHMED

Shaykh Shakir completed his Arabic studies and attained his Ijazat in Qira’at in Egypt. He briefly studied at Al Azhar University (Egypt) and subsequently graduated from Madinah Islamic University from the Faculty of Quran and Tafsir. He has served as an Imam in London and regularly leads Tarawih prayers at East London Mosque.

SHAYKH MUZAFFER AL QARI

Shaykh Muzaffer graduated from Al Azhar University (Egypt). He studied at the faculty of Shari’ah and holds Ijazat in Qur’an.

SHAYKH WAZEEM ABDULLAH

Shaykh Wazeem Abdullah is a graduate from the Islamic University of Madinah (KSA) with BA Hons in Shari’ah. He is currently an associate judge at the Shari’ah Council, London, specialising in family issues.

USTADH ABU SALEH

Ustadh Abu Saleh completed his introductory studies at the Tayyibun Institute pursuing advanced studies in Arabic, Fiqh, Aqidah and other disciplines in both the UK and Egypt. His methodical approach and love for the language has greatly benefited our students and provides an inspiration for them.

Female Teachers


SHAYKHAH ZAINAB BARRY

Shaykha Zainab has studied at the Imam Mohammed. b. Saud Islamic University, Riyadh. She studied at the Faculty of Usool ad Deen, specialising in Aqidah, Fiqh and Hadith. She is a senior Islamic Studies Instructor for female students at Tayyibun.

SHAYKHAH UMM EHAB

Shaykha Umm Ehab formally studied Fiqh and Hadith at the Dar Ul Uloom Qur’aniyyah, Jordan. She holds Ijazat in Qira’ah and is well versed in both classical and modern Arabic. She also holds a degree in child education.

USTADHAH UMM ZAKARIYYAH

Ustadha Umm Zakariyyah studied Arabic Language and Tajweed Ul Qur’an in Morocco. She has extensive experience teaching many students at our Institute. As a senior teacher of Quran, she has built great rapport with many students over the years.

SHAYKHAH UMM ADAM

Shaykha Umm Adam is a Hafidha of the Qur’an and has studied in Egypt as well as Saudi Arabia. She has many years of experience teaching Arabic Language and Qur’an to English speaking students.

USTADHAH UMM SHU’AIB

Ustadha Umm Shu’aib studied Arabic Language and Qur’an in Egypt and obtained Ijazat in Qur’an. She has a unique way of engaging with students, ensuring they clearly understand and implement what is taught.

USTADHAH ASMA KHELFA

Ustadha Asma completed her Arabic Language studies in Algeria and the UK. With extensive experience in teaching Arabic, she has developed a successful, structured and methodical approach to language acquisition.
