[EID + Day Of Arafah Confirmed]

Saudi official moonsighting team have reported a negative sighting hence completing 30 days of Dhul Qi’dah.

Note the following dates:

1st Dhul Hijjah: Wednesday 23rd August

8th Dhul Hijjah/Start of Hajj: Wednesday 30th August.

Day of Arafah: Thursday 31st August

Eid al-Adha/Yaum an-Nahr: Friday 1st September

The first ten days of the month of Dhul Hijjah are great in virtue and it is from the Sunnah to increase in worship and good deeds; especially fasting on the Day of Arafah.

Abu Qutadah (رضي الله عنه) reports that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم was asked about fasting on the Day of Arafah. He said, “It expiates for the sins of the previous year and of the coming year.” (Muslim)

May Allah accept the Hajj of all pilgrims and the efforts of all those at home.
